Welcome! You are invited to come and taste our typical Istrian meals, in the picturesque village of Fratrija

"Malo selo" is a small family runned restaurant that has been offering to its guests typical Istrian cuisine for over 30 years. The restaurant is run by the Marušić family, who founded it back in 1988. Parents (Neda and Albino) started this tradition, and children (Daniel and Tea) continued, with the goal of providing all guests with a perfect gourmet experience.

What gives this restaurant a special charm is certainly the family atmosphere and the widely known Istrian delicacies. The local pasta (pljukanci and fuži) made in the way our grandmothers made them, stands out here. Meat lovers enjoy the steak of impressive size and juicy taste. Not to mention, many travel for hours to try the famous aphrodisiac, the "kitchen diamond", known simply as: truffle.

This magnificent mushroom has its home in the beautiful Motovun forest, which is only half an hour drive from the restaurant
